How to Install hdapsd software package in Debian 7 (Wheezy)

hdapsd software package provides HDAPS daemon for IBM/Lenovo ThinkPads and Apple iBooks/PowerBooks, you can install in your Debian 7 (Wheezy) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install hdapsd

hdapsd is installed in your system.

Make ensure the hdapsd package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep hdapsd *

You will get with hdapsd package name, version, architecture and description in a table
